Solenoid Valve
A solenoid valve is an electrically controlled valve used to automatically manage the flow of air, gas, water, oil, or other fluids within a system. It works by using an electromagnetic coil (the solenoid) that, when energized, moves an internal plunger to open or close the valve. This allows machines and control systems to start, stop, or redirect flow instantly without any manual intervention, making solenoid valves essential for automated and remote-controlled operations.
Solenoid valves are widely used in pneumatic and hydraulic systems, manufacturing machines, HVAC systems, water treatment plants, medical equipment, and process automation. They are available in different types such as normally closed, normally open, direct-acting, and pilot-operated, each designed for specific pressure, flow, and application requirements. By using solenoid valves, systems gain precise control, faster response times, improved safety, and better energy efficiency, making them a critical component in modern industrial automation.
